Competent Crew, Day Skipper, Coastal Skipper, Yachtmaster Coastal and Yachtmaster Offshore
You can train with friends and family or invite other FlexiSail and FlexiCrew members to join you and share the cost.
Have a chat with us and we can tailor your training to suit your level and experience.
RYA Competent Crew, Day Skipper and Coastal Skipper course are all completion courses. The instructor assesses whether you have satisfied the criteria and completed the syllabus during the course. Instructors can teach up to 4 members at a time, so family and friends are welcome to join you.
The Yachtmaster Coastal and Yachtmaster Offshore are certificates of competence and require an exam with a separate examiner.
FlexiSail can guide you through from novice to Yachtmaster. We take care with booking you one of our well qualified and experienced RYA Instructors, arranging examiners for those completing their Yachmaster certificates and being a point of contact for any questions you may have.
RYA Practical Courses
RYA courses are done as ‘own-boat tuition’ on your FlexiSail boat.
